The new flagship chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 845 is based on Qualcomm® Kryo™ 385 built on Arm® Cortex™ technology. It has 8 x Kryo 385 CPU Cores with clock speeds upto Up to 2.8 GHz.
The new X20 LTE model with peak download speeds upto 1.2 GBPS. The fastest speed on any mobile chipset till date.
Graphics wise, it has the new Adreno 630, which is a graphics powerhouse. About 30% more powerful than the previous gen GPUs. It supports Open GL ES 3.2, Open CL 2.0, Vulkan, and DirectX 12 which is awsome as developers will be able to make more heavier games with stunning Visuals.

We can see major improvements in raw GPU power and about 30% faster than the previous gen SOCs.
Devices with the Snapdrgon 845 are yet to be commercially available so the real world usage yet to be tested.
